For
Entrepreneurs
If you have a vision for transforming a large, existing
market or perhaps even creating a whole new market through the development
and application of proprietary convergent technologies, your ideas
may fit well with our investment focus. Before contacting us, you
will want to make sure that you understand our investment focus
and offer a reasonably good match with our investment criteria.
These criteria should be very useful as a general guide in helping
you formulate your business strategy and model.
You may wish to take advantage of some of the white
papers written by Managing Director Po Chi Wu based on his over
sixteen years of experience as a successful venture capitalist.
In these articles, Po Chi describes the venture capital process,
how to be a successful entrepreneur, his vision of key trends for
the coming decade, and what lessons have been learned from the Internet
boom and bust. Additionally, we offer links to a variety of useful
resources that might help in developing and growing your company.

When you are ready to discuss your start-up with
us, please follow our guidelines for business plan submission. æFirst,
download the one page questionnaire, complete it and email it to
us.æ We recommend that your entire team be involved in this, to
ensure that you are in agreement.æ If you have a business plan,
you may also email your Executive Summary. If we believe there is
a good fit with Alameda Capital, or if we need more information
before we can make that assessment, we will ask you to submit a
full business plan, schedule an in-person meeting, or both. As a
general rule, we do not sign non-disclosure agreements. (This is
true of virtually all top venture capital firms.) However, we make
every effort to maintain the confidentially of all proprietary information
shared with us. |
